You are purchasing one set of chrome-plated EDM Eaton oil & gas tank caps for 45 models from 1937 to 1941.  With the knurling detail on these, they would be "correct" for 1937 to 1941 on civilian model W and G Servicar models.  However, these will fit the bungs on any 1937-1973 stock factory tanks.  Oil cap is non-vented and it is shorter than the gas cap which helped keep riders from swapping the vented cap with the non-vented which would cause vapor lock.  These are restoration quality with the accurate short 3/16" knurl, but these also have the rolled lip at the bottom of the cap which makes these pretty much indistinguishable from an original from that era.  These are done in very small production runs.

Please study the photos for height detail of the caps and knurls as I realize this is important to many restorers.  These have the EDM "Keystone" or "Anchor" hallmark stamped within. These come standard with cork gaskets.  We do sell rubber and leather gaskets in our store if you want to purchase a set and have them shipped with your new caps.

Used on many civilian models over the years: W, WL, WLD, WLDR, WR, Servicar. Easy item to lose and hard to find originals these days.  Obviously will fit WLA and WLC, but not a correct military finish as originals were OD green with an "oil" decal.

Need oil or fuel lines for your restoration project or correct hardware, lighting or hard mechanical parts?  If you cannot find them here or cimarroncycleworks, just email and ask.

Fits the following models but generally considered "detail correct" for 1937-1941 models:
  • 1937-1952, 45" W, WL, WLD, WR, WLDR
  • 1937-1973 45" Servicar G, GE
Please check my eBay store for tank emblems, gas caps, CP-1035 and CP-1038 hardware, parkerized clamps & clips, speedometer drives, decals, tank emblems, and other odds and ends for your vintage Harley project.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.
