You are purchasing one brake backing plate for mechanical brake side cars from 1936-1957. The origins of this is not completely known to us. We purchased this from one of our parts wholesalers in Europe, Samwel Supplies. This has some shelf rash and the paint is somewhat encrusted with dust but the plate is straight all the way around. This may be an older European reproduction, lightly used or NOS OEM. Samwel is known for quality parts. The steel is the same thickness as original.
