Harley CP-1038 Motor Engine Mount Kit Panhead 58-65 Restoration Correct Mounting

  • Product Code: 290852872927
  • Availability: In Stock
  • $70.95

Engine mounting hardware kit for Panhead and Shovelhead engines used from 1958 to 1965 on Duo-Glide and Electra-Glide big twins.  As the bolts are CP-1038, they would be "correct" from roughly 1949 to 1969.  This is the style kit with four castelated nuts to secure the four mount bolts. The top motor mount bolt is the 1952 to 1972 style machined exactly as Harley machined them on their own screw equipment leaving a small tit at the center of the bolt head and is drilled on the threaded end to allow for a cotter pin to secure the castle nut for the top motor mount.

As a bonus, you also get the Flexloc nuts & washers that secure the top motor mount bracket to the cylinder heads.

This kit is an exclusive offering of our own.  If you need 100% authenticity to your restoration, this is your kit.

We now offer the most detailed motor mount kits available for:
  • 1936 Knucklehead
  • 1937-1947 Knucklehead
  • 1937-1947 UL
  • 1948-1951 Panhead
  • 1952-1957 Panhead
  • 1958-1965 Panhead
  • 1966-1969 Shovelhead
  • 1930-1973 45” Servicar & solo models.
  • 1930-1930 VL models
There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies. Top mount bolt and all nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware" including a CP-1038 gas tank and oil tank mounting kit which would go great with this.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
