You are purchasing 16 gauge cloth covered wiring as used on Harley-Davidson as well as many other cars and motorcycles over the years. This is new production reproduction wiring, so you are getting good fresh wiring, not dried and cracked wiring which is unsuitable for restoration purposes.
You get 25 feet of Black with white tracer on this purchase. The last photo in the listing is to show what other colors I have available. You only get one 25 foot roll of black wire with this purchase. In case you are wondering why the black wire is more expensive than the other colors we sell it is because the vendor we purchase the other colors from ran out and we had to switch vendors and cannot get as good a wholesale price on the wire from our new vendor. We cannot sell this in smaller quantities.
Wire is 16 ga. Cloth covered wiring was used on Harley-Davidson models until 1969 at which time, H-D changed over to all vinyl color-coded wires. The particular style and tracers is most commonly known to have been used after World War II.
Used on Knucklehead, UL, WL, WLD, late WLA, Servicar, K-Model, Sportster, Panhead, and Shovelhead.
