You are purchasing one USA made reproduction of the 4144-30A brake cable packing nut used from late 1930 through 1940 on big twin, 45 solo and single models. Knurling and machining is spot on for this as well as the parkerized finish. This will thread on to the end of your cable's spiral winding. This does have the felt inner packing as original that you keep oiled.
This is a restoration-quality part.
