Fuel or gas tank top repair kit consisting of replacement 7/32"-32 inserts for 1918 to 1973 JD, VL, Single, DL, RL, WL, and G Servicar models.  These will braze or weld into place.  You will either need to drill out or sweat out your old inserts.  We also have listings for one and three if that is what you need for your repair.  JD models used six tank top screws, VL and RL used five, WL and G models from 1937 on used two.  You get two of these on this listing.

If you just want or need to re-tap your threads and have the material left to do it (1/4-28 is the repair screw thread), we do sell the oversize screws.

I've also got other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware" for JD, VL, Single, and pre-1937 45 solo and Servicar.

These are the standard thread screws.  We do have the oversize 1/4-28 screws available if your fittings have been stripped.

We have oil lines, fuel lines, shift and clutch linkages, brake linkages, throttle and spark control coils, etc. for your JD, VL or early single.  We carry 100's of parts we've not yet listed on eBay.  If you don't see what you need here or cimarroncycleworks, just email and ask.

Located at and ships from Cimarron Cycle Works in beautiful Cimarron, New Mexico, USA!

We also offer many plain head, CP-1035 and CP-1038 bolts and bolt kits for later model restorations.  I do have some NOS plain head hardware I’m finally getting around to listing.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.
We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
