You are buying a big twin rear fender brace clip mounting kit for 1936 to 1957 rigid frame Harleys, includes Knucklehead, Panhead, and UL models. Includes all pieces shown. As the bolts are CP-1035 cold-headed bolts they would be correct for 1943 or so until the early 1950’s or possibly later.
All USA made parts.
Used on the following:
- 1936-1947 E, EL, ELA, F, FL 61” & 74” OHV Knucklehead
- 1937-1948 U, UL, UH, ULH, UA 74” & 80” BT SV Flathead
- 1948-1957 EL, FL, FLH 61” & 74” OHV Panhead Hydra-Glide
You get the following in this kit:
- 2 ea. 4634 (early # 2821-30) Rear fender brace bolt, 7/16”-20 N.F. x 1"
- 2 ea. 7831, (early # 0136) Rear fender brace nut, 7/16”-20 N.F. x 1/4” x 5/8"
- 2 ea. 6490, (early # 0230) Rear fender brace flat washer 7/16” x 15/16” x 1/8"
- 2 ea. 7055, (early # 0265) Rear fender brace split lock washer, 7/16” x 11/16” x 1/16"
There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions". Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies. All nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them. Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day. Parkerizing and cad plating is the same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.
