You are purchasing a big twin brake pull wire and spring set for 1939 to 1957 big twins including Knucklehead, Panhead, and UL side valve or flathead. Spring is parkerized, pull wire has more of a natural or cad finish. These are very nice reproductions. Pull wires are made from spring steel to hold their shape.

Of course H-D used different finishes and had minute detail changes especially from ’36 to ’57 so as far as 100% “correct” for your year/model, I’m not certain. All I can tell you is this does fit the following:
- 1936-1947 E, EL, ELA, FL Knucklehead 61” & 74” OHV
- 1937-1948 U, UL, ULA, UH, ULH big twin SV flathead 74” & 80”
- 1948-1957 Panhead EL, FL, FLH 61” & 74” OHV
Please study the photos, the plating is excellent on these as well as the attention to detail and craftsmanship. This is a very well engineered kit.
