You are purchasing one USA-made fuel strainer lower cap and cork for Harley-Davidson 1942 to 1965 twin models (except K-Model) equipped with Linkert M-Series carburetors.  Also included are two corks to complete your rebuild.  This will fit all three of the cannister style fuel strainer bodies used for Linkert carbs, however this style of knurling is correct for 1942-1965 models.  We do happen to sell the correct brass cap with cross-hatched knurling on another listing if your bike is a 1932-38 model.

All components are 100% USA made.

We also sell the strainer with the fuel lines on separate listings as well as complete strainers and the screen and corks.

Fits the following: 
  • 1942-1947 E, EL, F, FL Knucklehead 61" & 74" OHV Knucklehead
  • 1942-1948 U, UL, ULA, UH, ULH 74” & 80” Big twin flat heads or side valves
  • 1942-1958 G Servicar 45" flat head models- Linkert M-18 carburetor
  • 1948-1965 EL, FL, FLH 61” & 74” OHV Panhead M-61, M-74, M-61B, M-74B carburetors
Carburetor model numbers are listed as correct OEM issue carbs for the models.  This can be used on any Linkert M-Series carburetor equipped with a canister style strainer

  • 62270-32 Cork Washer (1 ea.)
  • 62268-32 Gas Strainer Cap; Cad plated (1 ea.)
