You are purchasing 4 NOS OEM# 2265 (048 early H-D part number) primary inspection cover or front chain guard inspection cover screws. These are 12-24 NC x 3/8” oval head straight slot screws used on the inspection covers on 1929 to 1952 Harley 45 solo models and 1932 to 1973 Servicar Models. Every parts catalog I have shows these also are the eight derby cover screws for big twin models from 1936 to 1964, but they are not near long enough to penetrate the thick cork gasket and have enough threads left to secure the derby to a BT primary. There again, it may be due to reproduction gaskets being thicker or the aftermarket and reproduction derbys not being properly countersunk for OEM screws.
