You are purchasing one NOS OEM dash base with speedometer, switch, and complete wiring harness for 1965-1967 Electra-Glide models.
We received the base with the terminal box and plate terminals either cut off or unfinished. We verified the lengths were still correct and added flag terminals (multi-stud flags as original cannot be sourced anywhere) to it and also replaced the oil and generator lamp wires as they were a bit frayed around the socket holes.
We removed the switch and wires and cleaned everything then re-assembled it. NOS speedometer was added from our collection. The remainder of the harness not connected to the dash is one of our deluxe Electra-Glide wiring kits and has the exact same terminals as were used at the factory during that era.
The added harness wires are single-traced and varnished just as original. The front fork and rear terminal box harnesses are OEM original.
The switch is the original one to this dash and has some tarnish on it from years of storage. I've cleaned it lightly with some cleaner, you might be able to bring it all the way to new with some polish. Comes with original keys coded B353.
Speedometer date code is 540GJ8.
When ordering, please send us an email to let us know if you are using a starter relay and/or battery circuit breaker on your bike. We will make sure your harness is correctly configured for this as many bikes were retro-fitted with these later Electra additions.
I had considered keeping this for when I do eventually restore my own 1965 Electra but I've decided to part with it as that project is way down my list of priorities.
