You are purchasing one NOS OEM foot or rocker clutch spring for 1936-1978 Harley-Davidson foot clutch-equipped models. More specifically, this spring is for 1939-1942 models only as it has the angled hook and separate wire which allows some pivot in the spring.
Spring shows surface rust which is perfect for an original paint bike. You will want to blast and re-finish for a perfect restoration. We do have this as a reproduction as well with nice parkerizing on another listing for $10 less.
Used on the following models but considered "detail-correct" for 1939-1942 only:
- 1936 to 1947 61" & 74" OHV E, EL, F, FL Knucklehead
- 1948 to 1965 61" & 74" OHV EL, FL, FLH Handshift Panhead Hydra-Glide Duo-Glide, & Electra-Glide
- 1966 to 1978 or later 74" OHV FL, FLH Handshift Electra-Glide
- 1937 to 1948 74" & 80" flathead U, UL, UH, ULH, UA
