You are purchasing a nice reproduction of the 1949-1957 style handlebar grip sleeve for Panhead, K-Model, and Servicar models.  Used on all twin models through 1953, then Servicar through 1957.  This is a push type sleeve and is used for throttle with a stock Linkert M-Series carb and spark advance.  Contrary to what some people think, the same sleeve and spiral are used left and right unless you had a left hand throttle set up like on a Servicar with RH Shift.  In that case you would need the 56220-47 sleeve on the left side to get proper push action on your throttle wire.  Same length, ID, and OD as the originals.

These came out on 1949 models and were used on springer handlebars through the end of springer production on the 1957 Servicar.

The 125 and 165 lightweights used the pull type for their carbs, OEM# 56220-47 so this type will not work for Hummer owners.
