You are purchasing one USA-made rear brake rod for Harley-Davidson 1935-1952 45" solo models.  Parkerizing is perfect and these are spot on for the originals.  Bare rod is 25 1/4" long x 5/16 diameter, threading is 5/16-24.  These are assured to fit your original late RL or WL model.

We also include the washer and cotter pin that secures the rod to the rear brake bell crank.

We do sell this on another listing with the rod and clevis kit and we do sell the front rear brake rod and washers on other listings.  If you need the front and rear rods, we are more than happy to combine shipping.

We do sell these and the clevis kit in a chrome finish if that is what you are looking for, just email us if that is what you need.

Includes the following parts:
  • 4065-35 (late 42258-35) rear brake rod
  • 0212 washer
  • 0291 cotter pint
Fits the following:
  • 1935-1952 RL, W, WL, WLD, WLDR, WR, WLA, WLC, 45" solo flat head or side valve
Please be sure to check our store for more JD, VL, and early Knucklehead era parts such as oil lines, fuel lines, exhaust clamps, brake rods, clevises, and a full selection of plain head, machine cut bolts that are exacting duplicates of the original H-D hardware.  We have fuel tank mount kits, exhaust kits, etc.  Please drop us an email if you don’t see what you are looking for in our eBay store.  We have literally hundreds of parts for 1915-1984 H-D we have not had time to list on eBay as of yet.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

Insurance is included in the quoted shipping on international orders.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
