You are purchasing one new speedometer cable adapter. This is designed to allow you to use a 1936-1961 speedo cable with the male threaded end and 1962 and up speedometers with the male end. This will also allow you to run a reproduction speedometer which all use a male fitting on the back of the can with an earlier cable in an otherwise stock bike.
