You are purchasing one European-made reproduction of the 1929-1930 Solar dual electric head lamp or head light lens as used on electric VL, DL,JD and single models.  This is a really good quality headlamp diffusing lens with the same markings as original.  

Inscription molded into the glass is the same as the originals.  Diameter is 4"
