Harley VL RL WL WLA WR Top Motor Mount Bolt Kit 1930-1973 Plain Head

You are purchasing a USA-made top or upper motor mount kit with a plain head machine cut bolt and the rest of the associated hardware as shown for 1930-1936 VL, VLD, VLH models and 1932-early 1942 45" solo RL, WLA & WLC as well as WL, WR and Serivcar models.  The kit will fit all 45" solo through 1952 and Servicar through end of production in 1973.  The plain head is what makes this "correct" for 1942 and earlier as H-D turned over their bolt production to Chandler Products during WWII to keep up with supply demands with huge government contracts.  Nut has special machining as original and is made in the USA along with the washers and shim.

I have these available as lower and combined kits with upper and lower motor mount bolts in plain head or CP-1035.  Please see the "Vintage Hardware Pre-1980" section of my eBay store for different motor mount options as well as other CP-1038 and CP-1035 hardware kits. I also have motor mount kits for U, UL, ULH and big twin from 1936 to 1979.

There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies. Top mount bolt and all nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware" including a CP-1038 gas tank and oil tank mounting kit which would go great with this.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

We are aware eBay’s shipping calculator is not working correctly on combining shipping for some of our listings.  If the shipping amount eBay is trying to charge you seems high, please contact us immediately or simply click “request total from seller” and we will promptly manually calculate your shipping.  We always combine shipping on multiple item orders and will find the least expensive method which falls in line with how quickly you need your items.  Thank you!
