You are purchasing one European-made reproduction rear crash bar or safety guard for 1930-1936 model Harley-Davidson VL models.  This is a very nicely detailed piece and what we refer to as a "no apologies needed" reproduction.  Obviously, we cannot account for every repair or tweak your frame might have taken over the years.   Minor adjustments to holes are not uncommon even for original parts, though it lines up correctly on our VL test sled.
