You are purchasing a USA made reproduction oil bath air cleaner mounting hardware kit. 7/16" Bolts are plain head and machine cut identical to how Harley-Davidson cut these in their screw shop back in the day. 5/16" x 3/4" bolts are Chandler Products CP-1035 cold stamped bolts. Nuts are machined identical as well and split lock washers are identical to original spec. All parts are parkerized. This was used on the WLA models and I’m making the assumption it would have also been used for oil bath air cleaners on WLC and big twin models which used oil bath air cleaners as the mounting brackets on the cleaners had 7/16” holes.
CP-1035 stamped bolts would make this correct from some point of production in 1942 or early 1943 through the end of WWII production in 1945. We do offer a kit with all plain head hardware for very early WWII production on another listing.
Kit includes two each of the following:
- 1408-41M 7/16”-20 x 3/4” x 5/8” hex bolt
- 0133 7/16”-20 x 3/8” x 5/8" nut
- 0266 716” heavy lock washer
- 064 5/16"-24 x 3/4” x 1/2” hex bolt (CP-1035 cold headed bolts)
- 0117 5/16"-24 hex nut
- 0259 5/16” lock washer
Used on the following:
- 1942 - 1945 WLA
- 1941 and up big twin & WLC models (please check your own reference material to be sure)
