You are purchasing one USA made parkerized shift rod end bolt for 1936 Knucklehead and all twin models, not including Sportster or K-Model, from 1937 to 1964, depending on which parts catalog you are looking at.  Some show the bolt used up to 1957 on all hand and foot shift models, others show the use of a 33878-51 bolt from some point in the 1950's forward.  Parkerized would be considered "detail-correct" for 1942-1946 Knucklehead WL, WLA, WLC, and UL models.  Parkerizing is perfect on these, buy with confidence.  Replaces OEM# 2225-36 or 33879-36.

For certain, this would be correct for the war years listed in the item title.  Please do your research for points beyond the introduction of foot shift in 1952. Threaded end is 5/16"-24.  Also includes the correct 0117 nut, 0259 lock washer and a wave washer to take up the slop in worn shift rod ends.

Used on the following, but "detail-correct" for WW-II era bikes from 1942-1946 with the parkerized finish:
  • 1937-1952 W, WLA, WLC, WL, WLD, WLDR, WR 45" solo twin
  • 1937-1954 G, GD, GDT 45" Servicar
  • 1936-1947 E, EL, F, FL, ELA, ELC 61" & 74" OHV Knucklehead
  • 1948-1965 EL, FL, FLE, FLH 61" & 74" OHV Panhead (to 1954 on hand shift; 1952-1964 foot shift)
